Dated CY 282 (AD 218/9). laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / IЄ ACY CЄ ABIΛ[H N]ωN K C[y], lighted altar within hexastyle temple with arched central bay set on steps; pediment surmounted by figure of Nike; on either side, crenellated multistory towers, each with arched entryway; BΠ C (date) above. Spijkerman 25; SNG ANS 1128; Sofaer 22 var. (date); cf. Price & Trell fig. 288. Earthen dark green patina. Good VF. An impressive architectural type.
